Script:
When you feel lost or conflicted.
The future seems bleak.
There’s no way out. Nowhere to escape.
From behind that misery though, an invisible force arises to battle the conflict.
Creating optimism from tragedy.
Amid the darkness.
A light shines through.
Sprouting hope for the future.

Reflection:
Creating this commercial was a very interesting yet meticulous task. Before I started constructing my own commercial, I decided to watch ones made by my peers help to inspire me on how I would craft my own. I noticed how they developed a certain type of mood or how to effectively incorporate pictures with text. With this knowledge, I then set out to make my own commercial. I wrote out the text first (shown above) and and figured out pictures to accompany them. After that the job seems easy, right? Turns out it was not. I spent 6-8 hours after to make sure it match the length of the background music track, the timing of each clip was correct, the brightness was good, and many more annoying little details. I guess being nit-picky is not a good trait to have in this situation. In the end, I created a commercial that I am more or less proud of. Even though it was quite an annoying journey from the right music to the perfect timing, I feel it serves its purpose. I hope you enjoy my commercial!
